Baseline UTR Tour Round 3 - Action packed weekend of Tennis!

The Baseline UTR Tour returned on 15–16 August 2026 for another action-packed weekend of competitive tennis, bringing together players across the Women’s Draw and three Men’s Divisions. With players competing for valuable match experience and the opportunity to build their UTR ratings, the weekend delivered plenty of closely contested matches, strong performances and great sportsmanship across every draw.

From the opening rounds through to the finals and backdraws, players had the opportunity to test themselves against competitive opposition and spend valuable time on court.

Women’s Draw

The Women’s Draw produced some fantastic tennis throughout the weekend, with Abigayel Vosloo putting together an impressive run to claim the title.

Morakane Molaoa finished as runner-up after a strong tournament, while Nolwazi Mnguni and Milan Van Heerden both reached the semifinals.

The backdraw was won by Katherine Henderson.

Women’s Draw Results:

Men’s Division 1

There was plenty of high-level tennis on display in Men’s Division 1, with Andreas Scott coming through a competitive field to take the title.

Shane Furrows continued his strong performances on the Baseline UTR Tour, finishing as runner-up, while Ronan Mtisi and Vaughn Hunter reached the semifinals.

Nikolai Hensburg finished the weekend as the Division 1 backdraw winner.

Men’s Division 1 Results:

Men’s Division 2

Men’s Division 2 delivered another competitive draw, with Tapiwa Mutiwanyuka producing a fantastic tournament to secure the title.

Caden Roodt finished as runner-up, while Dalain Crous and Stephen Walters progressed to the semifinals.

In the backdraw, Jayden Myers finished on top to round out a strong weekend of tennis.

Men’s Division 2 Results:

  • Semifinalists: Dalain Crous & Stephen Walters

  • Backdraw Winner: Jayden Myers

Men’s Division 3

The competition continued in Men’s Division 3, where Stafan Matic put together an excellent run to claim the title.

Kyle Wilkinson finished as runner-up following a strong tournament, with Leon Bezuidenhout and Dumisani Jama reaching the semifinals.

John Marara claimed the Division 3 backdraw title.

Building Competitive Tennis Through the Baseline UTR Tour

The August event was another great example of what the Baseline UTR Tour is all about: creating more opportunities for players to compete, challenge themselves and gain meaningful match experience in a competitive environment.

The UTR format allows players to compete against opponents of a similar playing level, helping to produce meaningful matches while giving players an opportunity to improve their rating through competitive play.

A huge thank you goes to every player who competed on 15 and 16 August and contributed to the atmosphere and success of the weekend.
